Kimono is comes from the greek word himona, which is winter. And what do you wear in wintertime when it's cold, a robe. Robe, kimono, there you go

My wife loves that movie, it is apparently very funny to the Japanese as well. Sometimes she doesn't think movies I like are funny.

I'm a vegetarian

I make you lamb!

For the longest time i thought it was just a movie nobody ever saw. Past year I've found out damn near everyone has seen it, but nobody ever talks about it/references it. Now there's a whole other market it's popular in?! God damn, it's like it was a really good movie or something

Hi Gimmi,

Do you know much about the area around Nartita? I'm going to be there in a couple of weeks for a day or so for work. I imagine I will have some free time, but not necessarily enough to get into Tokyo for the day. Thanks

Narita is a town and there are some things to see. My wife says from Narita station you go to Omotesando st. and that is the main street. That runs through town and straight to Naritasan which is a famous Buddhist temple apparently. I'm sure someone at the hotel etc. can help and its all on google, how do you think I find anything!

Was this a commercial for Toyo of sorts? I noticed one of the tires is an R1R. . .

thanks for the info. While google is great, it never hurts to ask someone who may have been there!

I had to ask my wife. I think she has been there in the past when someone had to be near the airport. She lived in Chiba for a little bit so she probably knows that area. She said the town is very old and there are some things to see, of course they tell me that everywhere in Japan, you can always find a temple!

I didn't see any affiliation, I think they just picked some they liked for the pattern. Are those yours, how are those tyres? I have been running Avon ZZRs on my 7.

No these aren't my tires! I have heard mixed things about them though, not the most grip compared to some tires in the same catagory. If I were you I would go with a different tire, those type of tires will not come close to the grip of the ones in the pictures. Something like Toyo R888 or Yokohama Advan A050 (used in World Time Attack racing).
